Turmeric, Pomegranate & Rose Yoghurt

Turmeric contains curcumin, an active compound that has a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action. This super spice not only alleviate inflammation in the body, it helps improve liver function and promotes better cardiovascular health. Pistachios are loaded with dietary fibre which acts as a prebiotic food. This means that eating pistachios regularly can help feed the beneficial bacteria in your digestive tract and help enhance their growth.

Ingredients:

1 cup natural yoghurt

1 tsp ground ground turmeric

2 tsp raw honey

2 tbsp pomegranate seeds

2 tsp rose petals

2 tbsp roughly chopped pistachios

Method:

Mix yoghurt, turmeric and honey in a small bowl, until well combined.

Top with pomegranate seeds, rose petals and pistachios.

Delicious as a snack or breakfast served with muesli or porridge.

Serves 2.
