Strawberry Bliss Balls

Satisfy your sugar cravings with these delicious protein-rich Strawberry Bliss Balls. Having a nutritious protein-rich snack in the afternoon will help balance your blood sugar levels, boost your energy levels and will give you a sense of satiety, so you’re less likely to go for unhealthy cookies and convenience foods when you get that common afternoon energy slump. These balls are also a great source of vitamin C, zinc, magnesium and healthy fats.


Ingredients:

1 cup raw cashews or almonds

8 medjool dates, remove pit

1/2 cup desiccated coconut

2 heap Tbsp vanilla or berry protein powder (plant based or whey)

1/3 cup mixed seeds (hemp, sunflower, pumpkin)

¾ cup diced strawberries

Extra coconut to roll


Method:

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor until well combined and crumbly. If your mixture is too moist add extra coconut and seeds. Roll into small balls, and roll in extra coconut. then store in the fridge in an airtight container until ready to eat.


Makes around 12 balls.


TIP: Blitz your coconut flakes in the food processor first if you would like a finer mixture to roll your balls in.
